The service from start to finish by FootballBreak.co.uk was excellent, from booking online to arranging for the family to sit together on the airplane was perfect. The hotel was excellent and my children will never forget the experience. Barcelona is a great place for families, we used the bus tours to get to see all the sights and the stadium tour at the Camp Nou was amazing. Looks like Munich will be our next trip and we will be booking with FootballBreak.co.uk
Use the buses to tour the city, stay as close to the ground as possible. Eat at Pura Brasa, amazing tapas and we sat at a table that was a Table Footbal, Amazing.
We always dreamed of going to see Barcelona play, and thanks to football breaks that came true. Everything was prefect, the hotel location was perfect, the weather perfect and game and of course the nou camp, out of this world. Everything happened as football breaks said it would and all topped off with a fantastic price and package, can't wait to book up my next trip
Get to ground early and sample the build up, go to the rear of the nou camp, access 7 and see the players arrive in style.
Thought the trip was good value for money all in. We booked a hotel transfer through the hotel itself which was cheap enough (24 euros each way). The hotel was really nice. Yes it was a little bit tired looking but the rooms were clean and attended to every day. The staff were very friendly and helpful and the breakfasts were really good. At the match the atmosphere was not like UK grounds (all the noise came from one place in the stadium, but everyone livened up each time Madrid scored). Booking was so easy on the internet and all the documents we received clearly stated what we needed to do. The tickets arrived on the Friday evening and the seats were really good (we even got to see ourselves on tv many times when we reran the game when we got home). Madrid was a great city to visit. It's well worth buying the open top tour tickets (we did for two days and actually used the service to take us to the Bernabau for the match). The Royal Palace is well worth a visit. Great places to eat. Tapas bars are cheap and friendly. All in all a great weekend and we will be using footballbreaks.co.uk again and are already talking about doing the same next year in Barcelona.
Make sure you do the Bernabau Stadium tour and set aside a god couple of hours to do so. It was a truly fantastic experience. The gates open just 45 mins before the match starts so no need to get there mega early.
We really enjoyed our trip to the Nou Camp stadium, the service was excellent. Booking was very simple and the flights flexible, allowing us to fly home to Southend.
The Nou Camp stadium tour is very good and definitely worth a visit!
This is a great way for football fans to experience European football and to see new cities. I've used Football Breaks twice now and the organisation is first rate, never any concerns or problems. I'll be looking to plan my next trip soon.
Madrid is a lovely, friendly city with all kinds of attractions and entertainment.
